Project
HERMANOS UNIDOS PROYECCION, A.C. was funded on 25th May 1989 by a group of locals lead by María Gracia Castillo. This association aims to provide care for children who have been abandoned or neglected but have not been affected by more severe problems, such as drug addiction or sexual abuse. By giving them the appropriate care and attention, the home not only offers these children a childhood that is both mentally and physically healthy but also prepares them for adulthood, equipping them with the fundamental tools of life. The number of children in the home has gradually increased to a maximum of 18 and had to be established, because of the lack of space.
The volunteers would do an outdoor work; they must bring their hands and their heart to build a new home for the Child at Hermanos Unidos. They will also do some recreational activities with the children: games, visit to park, museum, the forest, etc.

Accommodation
The volunteers will stay in the building construction Children’s Home where basic facilities are at disposal and they will participate in the preparation of the meals and the cleaning of the house.
