SDA 501 KOSTELECKE HORKY I 15/03 - 31/03 ENVI/RENO VOLS 8+2
Location: Forgotten historic Czech village in Eastern Bohemia, Kostelecke Horky is a small village with about 150 inhabitants situated in the rolling landscape between Divoka and Ticha Orlice rivers. It is situated in North Eastern Bohemia, not far from the Hradec Kralove town, 6 km from the important railway junction Chocen. Last year we founded our Rural centre in one of the houses, which still needs a manual work and also some fine arranging. The Rural Centre is currently the placement site of two long term volunteers from France.
Work: Outdoors - planting trees in frame of program Tree of Life, spring gardening, help with renovation and arrangements on building of Blue Stone House and former school (village property, rent by INEX-SDA). Preparation of a Children day in frame of (games).
Accommodation and board: basic in a former village school (bathroom, hot water available), take your sleeping bag. Cooking together from local and common resources in a school kitchen.



SDA 101 TVAROZNA LHOTA I 22/04 – 04/05 ENVI/CONS VOLS 8+1
Location: Village lies in White Carpathian (Bile Karpaty mountains) in South Moravia border region – region with strong traditional feelings and habits. There are Protected landscape area around which protect cultural landscape with mosaics of meadows and forests. In village itself INEX-SDA has South Moravian Centre(IN Klub) which run some projects for landscape and local people.
Work: herb collection, terain work on outdoors children centre around look-out tower,
Leisure activities: Trips in nature, folklore-cultural events.
Accommodation and board: Inklub- INEX – SDA branch in the village, take your sleeping bag and light mat! Cooking together, small kitchen available in the Inklub.

SDA 102 MODRA 24/04 – 08/05 CONS/ENVI VOLS 12+2
Location: Traditional viniculture village in Southern Moravia, near the Velehrad town, 6 km from the Uherske Hradiste town.
Work: Work outdoors in archaeological skansen (digs), construction of a historical museum of Slovanian houses from wood, bushes, hay and other natural materials.
Seminars, meetings: craftsmen handy making traditional products, meeting with experts in rural and countryside revitalisation, local folklore etc..
Accommodation: Basic in a community house, take your sleeping bag and light mat!. Common cooking from local resources.


SDA 201 VILLA NOVA I 23/04 - 07/05 ARCH/ARTS/ENVI VOLS 8+2
Motto: experimental archaeology - experiencing landscape history
Location: About 150 people live in the village Velky Uhrinov, a place hidden under the Orlicke hory (Eagle Mountains), 15 km from Rychnov n. Kneznou town. There is only a small number of the original inhabitants, who have stayed here (border region) after the Second World War and the village has changed from a relatively big one to the current satellite of a central village in the valley (but still like a very distant branch). The Centre for Experimental Archaeology "Villa Nova" is situated in Uhrinov village. The village Uhrinov is relatively isolated from "civilisation".
Work: You will be integrated into the normal staff´s work. That means, your work varies, depending on the season: from preparation of the experimental fields for growing wheat and various technical plants, over participation in the experimental archaeological work or go to researches, to paint the basic house, to chop wood or cleaning after winter weather events.
Seminars, meetings: trip to the mountains for hiking, to Hradec Kralove,..
Board and accommodation: quite comfortable in the base of Villa Nova but there is an option to stay in a field station exp. archaeology centre with a fundamental conditions, take your sleeping bag and light mat!. Cooking together from common resources in the kitchen of the base.
Note: The work is manual!!! and placed outdoors (even in rain) and the programme participants should be prepared to stay for some nights in very "medieval" conditions.
