미국 필라델피아에서 열리는 국제워크캠프입니다.(8월 28일- 9월 17일).
VIS(VOLUNTEERS FOR INTERNATIONAL SOLIDARITY)란 단체에서 주체하는 이번 워크캠프는 현지 VIS 단체 건물 수리 보수를 하게 되고 현지 청년들과 국제 자원 봉사들로 구성되게 됩니다.
그외 참가자들사이의 여러 다양한 활동도 기획되어 있습니다.

CAMP No. 8 VIS Aug 28th to Sept 17th. Volunteers: 6
WORK PROJECT: Renovation of VIS building to house the local and international vols and the
office and to have various activities of the community.
Duration: Aug 28th to Sept 17th.
WHAT TO BRING: Work clothes, and shoes suited to weather between 60F and 100F (between 15
and 35 Celsius) sleeping bag, musical instruments and information for future
harmony.
ACCOMMODATION & HOW TO GET THERE: 1222 Mt Vernon Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123,
USA.
If you are flying into Philadelphia take a train to the city and get off at Market East station and walk to
Market St and 11th Street and get bus # 23 for a 1 mile ride to 11th and Mt
Vernon Sts and walk left on Mt Vernon St one block to cross 12th st and look for door #1222 on the
left side of the St. If you arrive at Phila late in the night please call us to pick you up at the
Greyhound bus station. This camp cannot take people in wheelchairs nor children.
DISCIPLINE: We welcome peoples of all walks of life, varied interests and background however individuals currently having addictive problem, for instance alcoholism or drug addition are not welcome.
REMARKS: Volunteers for International Solidarity is an infant organization hoping to flourish to create meaningful peace and cooperation. It is a non-profit organization longing to establish branches worldwide.
