Brivio is a small village situated among the towns of Lecco, Bergamo and Milan, all of them available by public transport. Since few months ago Legambiente is managing Brivio’s marsh inside the Adda Nord Park. It’s a very important Natural Reserve situated in Lecco district along Adda river. It’s populated by many different kind of birds and amphibious and recently has been recuperated. Legambiente will organise visits for students, scientific researches and activities to bejewel birds.
Volunteers will work cutting the cane field, a needed activity to protect the wood area from the fires, and in the maintenance of footpaths of the area.
Location: Lecco district, Lombardia region, North of Italy.
Accommodation: Municipal building
Terminal: closest international airports and railways stations are Milan and Bergamo.
