‘Fiume Farfa’ is a small co-operative which is setting up a farm with educational purposes with the declared objective of creating an opportunity for direct contact between agriculture and schools to inform students of the fundamental role of agriculture as an important actor of the environmental and cultural wealth and heritage of the so called marginal territories. Volunteers will undertake the hard work in the fields, in co-operation with us, people of the co-operative. The work will consist in: clearing the land of grumble and infesting plants, clearing some land from pieces of iron, paths constructing and maintenance of fences, olives picking. Accommodation in a building if you want. Please note that the place is beautiful but isolated, the closest tiny village is at 30 minutes walk away. Only vegetarian food will be available. TERMINAL: Roma.

WORK: Cleaning a ski slope, cleaning and maintenance of the area near the ski slope and the path to it, repainting the markings of tourist routes.
ACCOMODATION: In a comfortable chalet.
LOCATION: Muntele Baisorii is a ski resort situated in the Apuseni Mountains, belonging to the western part of the Carpathians. Administratively, Muntele Baisorii is located 50 km South-West from Cluj-Napoca, in the Cluj county. During the winter is a very important resort, thanks to its ski slope, with this atracting a lot of tourists, but during the other seasons it is know for its routes in the mountains, which they lead to a lot of interesting sites, and one of them, leads to a geobothanichal reservation, called Scarita Belioara. The best route for access is Cluj-Napoca – Baisoara – Muntele Baisorii.
LANGUAGE OF THE CAMP: English
MEETING POINT: In Cluj-Napoca on the 10th of October 2004. Volunteers have to be at the meeting place before 6 PM, because there will be a bus for transporting the volunteers to Muntele Baisorii. If you have any problems in getting there please e-mail or call the work camp leader. (You will have his contacts details in the info-sheet). 현지참가비 50 euro
