VIMEX 36 SAN CAYETANO 08.12-22.12 ENVI 15 VOLS. PARTICIPATION FEE 160 EUROS(현지참가비 160 euros)
PROJECT: San Cayetano is a National Park surrounded by woods where the weather is mostly mild and windy and very cold. This Center works mainly to encourage the reproduction and raising of different endangered animals like: Mexican wolf, white tail deer, collar pecari. The main objectives of this place is to preserve these animals. In this place, actions are taken in order to investigate, develop, education and planning about the wild life. Here, at San Cayetano there is a nice lake.
WORK: The volunteers will have to do several things, among these activities, we have maintenance of paths for prevention of fires, picking up rubbish (burned trees, old fallen trees, etc.), reforestation work and construction of wooden-handcraft furniture (beds).
FREE TIME: You will decide with your camp leader what to do in your free time. There is a nice town called Valle de Bravo with a big lake. Around 30 minutes by taxi.
LODGE: At the center, you will have all the basic facilities. You will help in the maintenance of the center. Clean the house, the w.c.’s, cooking for all the group.
WHAT TO BRING: Your enthusiasm. To be open minded to be in touch with a different way of life. It is possible that we have some rains in december. Prepare your raicoat. Bring your trainers or a comfortable shoes, warm and working clothes, sleeping bag, your favourite music, your cd-player, some pictures of your family, your friends, your city, card games, recipes of your country . We suggest to bring warm clothes, because this area is cold at night (2-3 celsius degrees more or less) remeber is a forest!!! but at the same time you will have sunny days. Prepare for all the climates. You know the weather is changing all over the world!!!
