Newly organized together with the local government.
This area is famous for beautiful scenery of the scattered houses
and the local cultural heritage of a Japanese traditional house
with the roof made of reeds.
They would like to revive and maintain the house to be utilized
by the local community for their cultural activities, music concerts,
meetings, potato parties, etc.
They need help of international volunteers, and expect us
as a "new wind" to activate the area and involve local young people.
W: We will maintain the roof of the house with local volunteers
and carpenters, such as carrying the Reeds and helping the works of the carpenters.
We may visit kindergarten to show international cultures!
S: How to raise local awareness and actions to keep the cultural heritage.

P: Exchange parties with local people, excursion, etc.

L: 200 km north west of Tokyo, the city boasts a so attractive living environment
to be ranked as the most comfortable town in Japan to live in.
T: Tokyo (10-11 hours by midnight bus or slow train) or Osaka(6-7 hours by slow train)
