일본 워크캠프에 관심있는 지원자들은
아래에 새로이 추가된 신청가능한 프로그램을
신청하기 바랍니다.

NICE/48 Yoshino (Nara) 02/08-11/08 AGRI 8
Newly Organized together with "Totoro Free School", which is a special
small school for the students who have a difficult background. They have
supported youth and children by many activities, studies, community life, etc. We
have organized weekend workcamps with them every two month. They
borrowed abandoned old farm from this spring near the Yoshino mountain. They
want to plant the vegetables and fruits, go on a picnic there. We want to involve
local people with international volunteers.
W: We will bring land under cultivation of abandoned farm, which is 0.5 hectare.
Removing some plastic
house, we will maintain the farm to plant pear, blueberry with organic farming.
We expect to work
with local volunteers, local kids. It will be hard work, but worth working in the
rich nature!!
S: Making a place to be relaxing. Bring some info.!
P: Excursion, exchange parties, swimming in the river, international games etc.
A: A tent or farmhouse, very simple condition. SB! CV!
L: About 50 km southeast of Osaka, the middle-west of Nara. The workplace is
20 min. drive from the
town, countryside in the mountain. Yoshino is famous for plum, cherry
blossom, persimmon,
sake(Japanese alcohol). There is a famous beautiful river, an old burial
mound, temple, fresh air !!
T: Osaka (2 hour by train).
Q: Interest in the cultivation, nature conservation.

NICE/47 Hiraodai 2 (Fukuoka) 18/08-27/08 KIDS 6
Organized together with “Hiraodai nature school” since 03. The area is
very famous for a beautiful
view and a limestone cave. This group have organized “Mini-school” since 01
where 20-40 kids from
Kyushu Island play, cook and live in the nature as they plan by
themselves to grow their independence, sensitivity, group cooperation,
creativity, etc. We need to be ready to spend 24 hours with them for
this period except some free days. Last workcamp was quite successful in
this March.
W: Before spending time with the kids, we will have an orientation with the
staffs to understand the
aims of “Mini-school” and your roles clearly. Then, we will help and live
together with kids all the
time such as supporting activities, teaching songs and showing foreign cultures
and performance.
S: Free school in each country. Bring some info.!
P: Excursion, exchange parties, etc.
A: A house of Mini-school where we will also work. SB! CV but sometimes MP
L: Small village in the mountains, in the north of Kyushu Island.
T: Fukuoka (1 hours by train/ car). From Osaka, 3 hours by bullet train or 12
hours by midnight bus.
Q: Those who loves kids. Responsibility and motivation to work with
them are necessary! Skills of
games, songs, cooking, etc. are very welcome though you need to respect
their ways!

NICE/51 Ogi (Niigata) 20/08-02/09 CULT/ ENVI 10
Organized together with "a local group " formed for this project by various
people, such as local Government staffs , fishermans and forest keepers since
01. This town is a part of Sado Island, in spite of such a wonderful natural
heritage, depopulation of youth is serious here as well as many other
villages in Japan. They need help of international volunteers, and expect us as a
"new wind" to activate the area and involve local young people.
W: We will make a big oven made of Stone to bake some bread, cake and
pizza. At the end of workcamp, Ogi town has local festival. This festival has
held for 350 years. We will help to prepare, join and clean local festival .
P: Exchange parties, excursion, fishing , etc .
A: public house. Cooking by volunteers
L: 300 km north-east of Tokyo. Sado Island is famous for gold and Japanese
crested ibis. Ogi is in
southern part beside from the beach, so you can enjoy fishing and hot spring
there !
T: Tokyo (4 hours by bullet train and 2 hours by ferry)
Q: Motivation to enjoy exchange with many local people and youth and to work
outside.
