CBF37 - MARTRIN- 08/08/05 au 29/08/05 RENO 12 vol
Martrin is a small village in the south of Aveyron located in the heart of the natural reserve of "Grands Causses". The southern side of Aveyron is a preserved natural territory and offers to the visitors a mosaic of different landscapes. It is also a country with a strong cultural identity.
The municipality wishes to host an international summer workcamp in order to restore the local heritage while bringing an international dynamics.
During this camp you will renovate an ancient chapel located in the center of a small typical hamlet.
Works to realize : deplastering and cleaning inside the chapel, maintenance of the hiking paths. Attention some work could be in height.
Accomodation in tents
Location: This camp is located 50 km from Albi and 65km from Millau. You will have the opportunity to discover the natural, cultural richness of this beautiful area and will taste the famous cooking specialities of this region . Exchanges with local population are planed during the workcamp but also during leisure activities: exhibitions, local fêtes, markets... Many excursions are possible to discover this beautiful area .
Arrival in St Sernin sur Rance bus stop
Nearest airport: Toulouse
Meeting point : 08/08 at 16h25 at the bus stop in St Sernin sur Rance .
Once in Toulouse go to the bus station ( just near the train station ) . Then take a bus to Millau . Stop in St Sernin sur Rance
Be carefull there is only one bus a day. Departure from Toulouse bus station at 13h45. Don't missed it otherwise you will have to spend a night in Toulouse and wait the day after !!!
