VJF2.6 Potsdam 04.07.-20.07.05 RENO / HIST Age limit: 18 - 26 15 VOLS
Work: You will do different clearing and gardening work at the Kapellenberg, a big and beautiful park with a chapel, a Russian Orthodox cemetery and the pope house, and in the historic Russian Colony Alexandrowka. Experts of the department, responsible for the maintenance of memorials in Potsdam will supervise your work. So you will have the possibility to get a deeper knowledge about the history of Potsdam during the last centuries and if you are interested, especially about the time during and after the Second Word War. Of course we will visit some of the places, which Potsdam is famous for. You will also do maintenance work at the historical monuments in the cemetery.
Accommodation: in student dormitories in 3-bed-rooms

Work: Your help is needed to make the “project and meeting centre” more attractive for all our visitors. So the volunteers are asked to do repairing, renovating, cleaning and gardening work.
