인도 YBS-04 워크캠프는 IWO와 인도 현지 단체인 YBS의 주관으로 델리에서 50km떨어진 Prempur 라는 작은 마을의 학교의 운동장을 만들고 아이들에게는 영어와, 스포츠, 놀이문화등을 가르치게 됩니다. 또한 현지 지역 주민들과 어울려 춤과 노래를 통한 문화 교류 등 다양한 문화적 교류의 시간을 가지는 등의 시간도 갖게 될 것입니다.

YBS-04 Prempur 21/02 - 06/03 Cons/Cult/Edu 15 Vols
Background - The project is in a small village, called Prempur in Kannauj District, Uttar Pradesh State. 1800 years ago, Kannauj was the capital of King Harshabardhan. He was a very famous king in Buddhism like Ashoka. Baraipur is a beautiful village surrounded by agriculture fields. It is about 400km east from New Delhi. It is a very interior village and there was no school for children to study until YBS established a school under the tree in 2001. Local people are mostly farming but they are kind and helpful by nature. 300 students and 11 teachers are there although they have very poor facilities.
Activities – Volunteers will construct a play ground in the school garden. And they will run school activities by teaching English, their culture and language, songs and sports. Also volunteers will be engaged in cleaning the streets and promoting the importance of cleaning. Volunteers will have some cultural activities with village people like singing songs or doing performance.
Accommodation - with local community in the village .
Terminal - NEW Delhi airport
Participation Fee - 140 USD
Note - Only vegetarian food will be provided. The bathroom and toilet are temporary ones.
