USA VFP 26 WILLOW SPRINGS, MISSOURI 15 SEPT - 06 OCT RENO/AGRI 15 VOLS
Ananda Marga is a worldwide spiritual and social service organization,
whose members practice meditation, yoga and vegetarianism.
The Willow Springs project offers a retreat center for area non-profit organizations
and is a center for sustainable rural development. They receive over
150 volunteers and interns each year.
W: Vols are needed to help with house painting and repair, organic fruit
and flower gardening, water diversion work and other related tasks.
A: Dormitory style beds. Vegetarian meals.
S&R: Many activities are available such as canoeing, volleyball, soccer,
walking trails and more. There will be a 3-day gathering of international peace
and sustainability organizations at the end of the camp.
