Work:
Ringkøbing Youth school is a spare time school for young people from 13 to 18 years of age. We provide good and substantial spare time activities for our young people. We have many activities including Bo-kart-driving. A Bokart is small 4 wheel off-road Go-kart. See more at http://www.bocart.dk/ The job for the workcamp is to design and install the service facilities around the track, that includes fence, garage, store, preparation of the ground and a small covered pit next to the track. The ground I situated approximately 3 km. north of the town Ringkoebing in western Jutland. If the duration of the job is less than 7 days, there is an other opportunity at the school in the town itself. We have a club, where young people can play pool, see video and television, surf the net and so on. At this location, there is a lot of painting to do. If you are creative or know how to make Graffiti, we would like to offer you a job there.

To design and install the service facilities around a bo-kart track. Including fence, garage, store, preparation of the ground and a small covered pit next to the track. A Bo-kart is a small 4 wheel off-road go-kart.
Accommodation:
The youth Hostel in Ringkoebing is placed near the fjord and has its own kitchen and bath facilities. You will sleep in 4 bed rooms, and be placed less than 200 meter from the local swimming bath. The youth school will do the transportation between the different places.
Location:
Ringkoebing is situated on the west coast of Jutland.
Terminal:
Train station in the city. The nearest airport is Billund (BLL) near Vejle.

The project: The castle ”Schloß Bedheim” is located 8 km from Hildburghausen (station) and 15 km from Bad Rodach (station) in the beautiful Franconian south of Thuringia near the border of Bavaria in the middle of Germany; the next main town is Coburg, 28 km away from Bedheim. It is surrounded by a serene landscape. The estate which dilapidated in the days of the German Democratic Republic is recently done up by the family Rühle to whom it belongs. A supportive association which is recognised as being of benefit of the public, supports the work.
Since 1992 we organise Workcamps together with Yap-cfd and since 1994 there is an ecological and social-therapeutic horticulture where handicapped persons are working, and students of special education are doing their practical training. Formation seminars and cultural events are also organised in the castle. 4 - 5 hours work each day.
Work
Helping in the garden, working together with handicapped people, renovating the castle.
Studypart
A special matter to discuss is the “Year of forced marriage” but also excursions to places of culture, history and natural beauty, nearby, a journey to the famous city Weimar, lectures about the present German society, culture and politics in this area of former Democratic Republic of Germany.
Topics like ecological agriculture, social integration of disadvantaged people, visiting other projects.
Accommodation
Group accommodation: Notices: please bring your sleeping bag, slippers and pullovers. Earlier arrival is not possible!
Leisure time
The afternoons and evenings as well as weekends are mostly free. We will try to offer you various activities for your spare time: sport, excursions, swimming
