프랑스에서 만난 다정한 사람들, 잊지 못할 추억

So basically, the things I expected and hoped from the workcamp were not a lot. Before the workcamp, I heard from my parents that I was the only Asian there. I didn't want to judge but I've been hearing that Europeans are racist since I was a kid so I was extremely worried. I hoped that the kids in the camp are not like that.
As I wished, they were really nice and sweet people. I also hoped that there would be hot water in the shower but the water was cold.

The days when we worked, we needed to wake up at 8 in the morning so that was one complicating thing the hardest part of the work was lifting heavy stones and moving them to the right place. We also did many activities, such as dodgeball and card games, and also activities that the animators prepared for us. The people in Concordia were all so nice and hardworking and also the people in Pamiers were all really friendly and easy to talk to. It was really fun when we had these night talks when we stayed up late all together and talked and hung around until late at night. It was the best time of my life.

After the camp, I was extremely sad and I felt so much nostalgia towards the camp. I learned to communicate with kids in diverse regions, I learned how to cook, how to manage my own time, respect others, and to collaborate and blend in with different people.
It was such a nice camp and I would love to attend it again next year, I just wanted to say thank you, everyone, for making such a beautiful time for me!
