DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT After the experience in 2016 and then the successful workcamps in 2017 and 2018 for the Third World Meeting on Terraced Landscape in Italy, it continues the collaboration also for 2019 between IBO Italia and undersection CAI of Ischia-Procida. Cai (Club Alpino Italiano) Ischia- Procida, was born on May 2012 and their members not only have specific aims of encouraging mountaineering, excursionism, they take care for regards mountaineering, safeguarding nature and the Alpine environment and Alpine culture because the mountain is a sustanable resource and it could be an instrument for the economical development of the mountanins communities. One of activities for 2018 it is the riqualification of some tracks of real estate registry Cai in Ischia. The volunteers will be invoved in maintenance activities of some internal tracks of the isle. The workcamp is part of a wider project concerning the taking care of the patrimonio builded with dry stone and the passage of the knowledge of the traditional work methods leading of the italian section of the “Alleanza Mondiale per i paesaggi terrazzati” (ITLA).

Work: Cleaning work, naturalistic engineering, and rebuilding of little pieces of dry stone wall. The volunteering will be attend to locals experts in dry stone wall for the coordinating of works. The time table of work is : from 8.30 am to 5 pm with 30 minutes break for packed lunch.

Arrival to Naples port (Porta di Massa dock) or Pozzuoli and take a ferry boat direction to Ischia or Casamicciola. From there a shuttle takes all partecipants.
