Le Quartier des Générations is an innovative and community-oriented seniors’ residence. It allows people from different generations to meet thanks to its collective spaces, unifying activities and different housing types. With its unique approach, the organization wants to inspire other senior living environments across Quebec.
Le Quartier des Générations wants to revitalize its site. Volunteers will do landscaping and build various equipment to improve the available services and activities. They will also participate in many social events alongside the elderly, where volunteers and participants can share life stories.

The Ahuntsic neighbourhood in the north of Montreal is not only urban but also peaceful. Bordered by the Rivière des Prairies, it has many attractions such as the magnificent Îlede-la-Visitation Nature Park and the Promenade Fleury, which attract outdoor enthusiasts as well as gourmets. Located about ten kilometres from downtown
Volunteers will be sleeping in a brand new community room. They will have access to a cafeteria on week days but will have to cook their own meals on weekends. They will have access to Wi-Fi.

캐나다 워크캠프 참가를 위해서는 비자(work permit)를 발급 받으셔야 합니다. 비자취득에는 최소 8주 이상의 시간이 소요(비자발급비 무료)되므로, 시간적 여유를 가지고 워크캠프를 신청하시기 바랍니다. 다만, 학생 또는 워킹비자로 캐나다 현지에 체류중인 분들은 별도의 비자를 취득하지 않아도 됩니다.(캠프 합격 메일의 회신으로 본인의 여권사본을 보내주시면, 현지 기관의 초청장과 함께 별도의 비자발급 안내메일을 발송해 드립니다.)
