Description of the partner organizing/hosting the project:

This International Work Camp whose mission is to take over the planet, has two main objectives: young people participate in cleaning actions in different areas of the city of Vila Real and participate in actions to raise awareness of the public of Vila Real about how we should keep the city clean.

Description of work:

Viewing videos and short films in order to understand how man is affecting the planet with pollution and waste produced and how they can reduce the environmental footprint; Visit to the cleaning sites and definition of necessary material; Cleaning of urban garbage in the city and in green spaces; Reduction, Reuse and Recycling of garbage; Preparation of awareness-raising action; Raising awareness of the population and young people about the importance of protecting our planet.

The camp will take place in the city center of Vila Real. in North of Portugal

Kind of lodgement: A building in the city center of Vila Real, close to the city green parks. Has 2 rooms: one is bigger, the other one is smaller, 2 bathrooms, showers with hot water, and a large meeting room.- Number of meals: 4 (Breakfast, Lunch, break and dinner)
